Chandigarh: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann on Monday announced that the Monsoon Session of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha will be held from August 3 to August 10.
The announcement was made during a special press conference following a meeting of the Punjab Cabinet chaired by the Chief Minister. Mann said the session would take up several people-centric ordinances and Bills for discussion and passage.
He added that the duration of the session could be extended or curtailed, if required, based on the decision of the Business Advisory Committee (BAC).
The Chief Minister also said the Cabinet had taken several important Punjab-centric decisions, details of which were shared during the press conference.
