New Delhi: The Central Government has appointed Angel Bhati Chauhan, a 2014-batch IAS officer of the AGMUT cadre, as Deputy Secretary in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation, New Delhi, under the Central Staffing Scheme. According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Chauhan, who was recommended for central deputation by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), has been appointed for a four-year tenure from the date of assuming charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. She has been directed to be relieved of her current responsibilities immediately to enable her to take up the new assignment in the Department of Drinking Water and Sanitation.
