Chandigarh: In a major boost to Haryana’s healthcare infrastructure, appointment letters have been issued to 137 newly selected medical officers, who will soon be joining various government hospitals and health centers across the state.

The appointments come following the successful completion of biometric and document verification earlier this year. Haryana Health and Family Welfare Minister Aarti Singh Rao extended her congratulations to the newly appointed doctors, stating that their induction will significantly enhance healthcare delivery in both rural and urban areas and help reduce the workload on existing medical staff.

“This step reflects the government’s commitment to ensuring timely, accessible, and quality healthcare for every citizen of Haryana,” said the Minister.

She further added that the recruitment is part of a broader strategy to fill long-standing vacancies and ensure that no Primary Health Center (PHC), Community Health Center (CHC), or Civil Hospital remains understaffed.

The appointment letters have been emailed to all civil surgeons across the state, from where the selected candidates can collect them.

The postings include District Civil Hospitals in key regions such as Narnaul, Ambala City, Bhiwani, Sonipat, Jind, Charkhi Dadri, Hisar, Panipat, Karnal, Sirsa, Kurukshetra, Kaithal, Jhajjar, Fatehabad, and Yamunanagar, among others.

The Minister also appreciated the transparent and efficient recruitment process led by the Health Department of Haryana, which earlier this year had issued 560 appointment letters, out of which 409 medical officers have already joined service.
