Union Minister Manohar Lal inaugurates projects worth crores of rupees in Karnal

Karnal:Union Energy, Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Manohar Lal said that on the call of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a tree was being planted in the name of mother across the country. Taking this campaign a step further, every person should take a pledge to plant not just one but 10 plants in the name of mothers and ensure to take care of these plants, because it is these plants which become trees tomorrow and give us pure oxygen which is very essential for our life.


Union Minister Manohar Lal was addressing the gathering after inaugurating the beautification of Shaheed Udham Singh Park during his stay in Karnal. On this occasion, officials of Shaheed Udham Singh Kamboj Welfare Society and Sector-9 RWA honored Manohar Lal by giving him a turban and memento and expressed gratitude for developing this beautiful park. This project has cost Rs 1.20 crore. Its area is 6.5 acres. In this, 4500 feet foot path, one cattle and main gate each, one thousand meter boundary wall have been built. Apart from this, 750 saplings were planted, grass lawns in 3900 square meters, 20 benches, 200 palm trees and four rain water harvesting plants have been made.


Manohar Lal has given a big gift to the people of Karnal by inaugurating four big projects of Karnal Smart City as per the scheduled program on Sunday. An amount of approximately Rs 23.67 crore has been spent on the construction and development of these projects. In these projects, the Observation Center built under Mixed Use Development (Mixed Used Development) worth about Rs 4.03 crore and 2400 square meters located at Shakti Colony Complex was inaugurated. Apart from the ground floor, first and second floors have been built on it. Its covered area is 1733.40 square meters. On the first floor, two office rooms, store, two child welfare committee rooms, recreation room, dining hall, two bedrooms and counseling room, on the first floor dormitory room, two class rooms, library, five toilets and five bathrooms, on the second floor door meter, doctor's cabin, sick room, workshop and five toilets have been constructed.


After this, Union Minister Manohar Lal inaugurated the community hall, library building, badminton and volleyball court built at a cost of Rs 11.20 crore in Sector 33, whose total area is 8560 square meters (covered area 5745). In this, facilities like party lawn, lobby, entrance lobby, office, green room will be available in the community hall built in 799.72 square meters and the facilities of reception, reading room, conference room, digital library, cafe will be available in the library building built in 626.09 square meters. Three badminton courts and two for volleyball have been built. Apart from the ground floor, first and second floors have been built in the community center (each with a capacity of 500). The conference hall can have capacity 30 seats and the cafeteria can seat 100 people. An audio-video room for 50 people and a conference room for 30 have been made in the library building. Apart from this, there will be seating facility for 58 people in the digital library. 500-500 people will be able to avail the facility on both the floors of the library.


After this, Union Minister Manohar Lal also inaugurated the community center built at a cost of Rs 7.24 crore in Sector-32. In this, ground floor, first floor and terrace floor have been made, 992 square meter ground floor has been made, committee room, office, badminton hall, multipurpose hall, kitchen, deck, toilet, first floor (776 square meter) has gym, table tennis, reading room, bridal, suite-1 and 2, toilet, mummy/machine room-1 (capacity 500 persons) has been made on the terrace floor.


On this occasion, MLA Jagmohan Anand, MLA Yogendra Rana, Mayor Renu Bala Gupta, District President Praveen Lather, MP representative Kavindra Rana, BJP officials Mukesh Arora, Manav Puri, Madan Gujjar, former chairman Azad, Vijay Vedpal Advocate, Gaurav Khurana and on behalf of the district administration, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Anand Kumar Sharma, Superintendent of Police Narendra Bijraniya, ADC Dr. Rahul Raiya, DFO. Naval Kishore, HSVP's SE Dharambir along with Shaheed Udham Singh Kamboj Welfare Society President Karmasingh Kamboj, General Secretary Shyamlal Kamboj, Vice President Parimal Singh, RWA Secretary PJ Arora, Advocate Surjit Singh Madan, Vijay Kamboj, Vinod Kamboj, Joginder Kamboj, Shivkumar, ON Malik, Satish Kumar Garg, Rambhajan Verma were present.
