Mohali : Punjab BJP president Sunil Jakhar met former Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh at a hospital in Mohali on Monday, sparking fresh political buzz in the state. Captain Amarinder Singh, who recently underwent knee surgery, had reportedly visited the hospital for a routine medical check-up. Sources close to the veteran BJP leader said he is recovering well, is fully fit, and no longer requires a walking stick for support.
Following the meeting, Sunil Jakhar shared a post on X, saying, “Met Captain Amarinder Singh ji, who is at the hospital for a routine check-up. He was in high spirits and in a cheerful mood. Wishing him good health and a speedy recovery.”
The meeting between the two senior BJP leaders has triggered speculation in Punjab’s political circles, especially ahead of key political developments in the state.
