Chandigarh: The Punjab Government has ordered a major administrative reshuffle, transferring several IAS officers with immediate effect.
According to the order issued by the Department of Personnel, the reshuffle has been carried out on administrative grounds and includes key postings across departments.
Among the major changes:
Vikas Pratap, IAS (1994) has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training.

Sumer Singh Gurjar, IAS (1998) has been appointed Principal Secretary, Defence Services Welfare.

Kanwalpreet Kaur, IAS (2007) will serve as Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, along with additional charge as Commissioner, Food & Drug Administration and Commissioner, Faridkot Division.

Babita, IAS (2009) has been posted as Commissioner, Agriculture, and will also hold additional charge of Commissioner, Ferozepur Division.

Harpreet Singh Sudan, IAS (2013) has been appointed Director, Sports & Youth Services, with additional responsibilities as Managing Director of multiple state industrial bodies.

Jaspreet Singh, IAS (2014) has been posted as Director, Industries & Commerce.

Himanshu Aggarwal, IAS (2014) has been appointed Deputy Commissioner, Patiala.

Abhijeet Kaplish, IAS (2015) has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib, with additional charge of Director, Mines & Geology.

Amit Kumar Panchal, IAS (2016) will take over as Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib.
The reshuffle aims to strengthen governance and improve administrative efficiency across key departments in the state.
