Kalamay Society Concludes 15-Day Art & Skill Development Internship

Chandigarh: Kalamay Society successfully concluded its 15-day Art and Skill Development Internship, held from July 4 to 18, 2026, with enthusiastic participation from undergraduate and postgraduate students representing various colleges and universities across Chandigarh. Organised under the framework of the National Education Policy (NEP), the internship was conducted in both online and offline modes to ensure wider accessibility.

The programme provided hands-on training in creative content writing, public speaking, communication skills, event management, personality development, artistic expression, and employability-focused professional skills. Designed around experiential learning, the internship aimed to strengthen participants' creativity, confidence, interpersonal abilities, and career readiness.

As part of the concluding activities, the participants organised a literary programme at the T.S. Central State Library, Sector 17, Chandigarh, showcasing the knowledge and practical skills they had acquired during the internship.

The programme concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony. Certificates were presented by Dr. Anish Garg, Vice Chairman, Chandigarh Sahitya Akademi; Dr. Ashwani Shandilya, noted critic and literary scholar; Dr. Shipra Srivastava, eminent poetess; Professor Naveen Gupta; and Mr. Pawan Sharma, Founder and President of Kalamay Society. The dignitaries congratulated the participants on successfully completing the internship and wished them success in their future academic and professional pursuits.
