Governor participates in Ram Navami Shobha Yatra at Devi Talab Temple in Jalandhar

SHIMLA: Governor Kavinder Gupta arrived in Jalandhar today on a one-day visit to Punjab. During his visit, the Governor participated in the religious Ram Navami Shobha Yatra organized at the renowned Siddha Shaktipeeth Devi Talab Mandir.

On the occasion, the Governor offered prayers at the temple and sought blessings for peace, prosperity and well-being of the people. He lauded the spiritual and cultural significance of such religious events, stating that festivals like Ram Navami strengthen social harmony and preserve the rich traditions of Indian culture. He observed that the teachings of Lord Rama continue to inspire people to follow the path of righteousness, truth and duty in their daily lives.

Shri Gupta appreciated the efforts of the organizers and devotees for conducting the Shobha Yatra in a disciplined and devotional manner. He said that participation in such sacred occasions foster a sense of unity, devotion and collective responsibility towards society. The Governor also interacted with devotees and extended his greetings on the auspicious occasion.

Former Chief Minister of Punjab Charan Jeet Singh Channi, President Devi Talab Mandir Committee Sheetal Bij, local dignitaries, temple authorities and a large number of devotees were present on the occasion.
