Chandigarh: International market fluctuations and rising demand during the wedding season have pushed gold and silver prices higher in the bullion market. On Wednesday, 24-carat gold climbed to Rs 1,63,700 per 10 grams, while silver was recorded at Rs 276 per 10 grams.
Market experts said the continued rise in gold prices is being driven by global economic uncertainty, fluctuations in the US dollar, and increased investor buying. Silver prices have also remained strong amid growing market demand.
