Patiala : Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann on Tuesday made a sensational claim, alleging electricity theft at a rally organized by the Shiromani Akali Dal as part of its ‘Punjab Bachao Yatra’.
Addressing a public gathering in Patiala, Mann said that at the rally held in Muktsar, electricity was allegedly drawn illegally by hooking a direct connection from a power transformer. He claimed that the act of power theft was caught red-handed.
The Chief Minister stated that strict legal action will be taken in the matter and an FIR will be registered against those found responsible.
