Satsang held to signal start of construction of ‘Art of Living Ashram’

Chandigarh:  Prime Land Promoters and Builders (PLPB) in association with the Art of Living (AOL) held a satsang to mark the beginning of construction of North India’s largest Art of Living Ashram. The ceremony was held at PLPB’s upcoming project site - ‘The Wellness City’ on the Chandigarh-Patiala road. 
 
 
The auspicious ceremony was marked by a  Guru Puja and Satsang, in the august presence of Prasana Prabhu ji and Mrs. Tripta from the Art of Living Foundation. 
 
 
Speaking on the occasion, Sumit Singla, CEO of PLPB said,"The AOL Ashram will be  located in  'The Wellness City' which is in sync with bioclimatic architecture, and thoroughly environment friendly. The Ashram will be spread over  20 acres of land in a lush green area and will be equipped with a meditation hall, an international school, Ayurveda College and many other features."
 
 
Mrs . Tripta, Trustee at the Art of Living said, “I want to congratulate PLPB for bringing such a unique and beautiful concept of  residential project along with the Art of Living Ashram, in the region. People living near the Ashram  can relieve their stress anytime by meditating in the Ashram when it's ready."  
 
 
Lohit Bansal, Managing Director of PLPB and an AOL teacher, said, “It’s an auspicious occasion for us. We are extremely delighted that we will be having an AOL Ashram in our project. 'The Wellness City' epitomizes the values and ethos of the Art of Living, which is more of a principle, a philosophy of living life to its fullest. The Ashram located in Punjab will be a central place for service projects and meditation programs for the entire Northern India apart from being a world-class residential complex .” 
 
 
It is noteworthy that the township is being  designed for physical, social, intellectual and spiritual wellness of people. Youngsters and kids particularly will inculcate good values thanks to the residential AOL Ashram and will also learn the importance of  safeguarding  the environment.
 
 
 'The Wellness City' by PLPB is being built by seeking inspiration from the 5 elements of life – water, earth, fire, water and the soul which is envisaged as an oasis of tranquillity and wellness. The township is being designed by top International architects like Egypt's Omar Rabie with a focus on environment-friendly  architecture.
