BHOPAL: The Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Shri Rajiv Chandrashekhar addressed the trainees virtually from New Delhi in the second session of Rural Tribal Technical Training. The Minister of State Shri Chandrashekhar praised the functioning of CRISP and congratulated them. He said that after Covid there has been a profound impact on the electronic value and production in the world. India is strengthing its position strongly in the world as an electronic nation. In the year 2014, electronic items worth one lakh crore rupees were being produced in India, which has increased to 6 lakh crore today.
Tribal Curriculum-Laboratory Inaugurated
Shri Atul Tiwari, Special Secretary, Union Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, today inaugurated the Rural Tribal Technician Training Laboratory at CRISP. Shri Tiwari and Chief Executive Officer of National Skill Development Corporation Shri Vedmani Tiwari also released the training course.
Both officers also interacted with the students who came for training from states like Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan etc. They also inspected the hydraulics training of DRDO scientists going on at CRISP. Shri Tiwari said that after the training, the students will not have to go far from their village. They can go to their village and earn income by this skill. Shri Tiwari also took stock of the training equipment related to electronic equipments like air conditioner, fridge, washing machine etc. Managing Director of Crisp Dr. Shrikant Patil and Director Shri Amol Vaidya were present.
