Chandigarh, September 30- Haryana, Chief Minister, Sh. Manohar Lal laid the foundation stone of the strengthening work of the rainwater disposal and four rainwater disposal projects in the Old Housing Board of Rohtak on Saturday before the Jan Samvad programme.This ambitious project, costing approximately Rs. 14.90 crore and to be completed in about fifteen months, aims to provide a permanent solution to the waterlogging problem in the region.
Chief Minister Sh. Manohar Lal said that this special project has been prepared to address the persistent issue of waterlogging at the Old Housing Board. He highlighted that by completing this project within the stipulated time frame, the residents of the Housing Board would be relieved of their water-related problems. He urged the concerned department officials to monitor the construction of this project with dedication and diligence, ensuring that citizens are freed from the water logging issue.
Former Minister, Sh. Manish Grover, Mayor, Sh. Manmohan Goyal, Administrative Officers and other dignitaries remained present on the occasion.
