BHOPAL: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that efforts should be made on war footing by setting goals for implementing cooperative policy. The scheme to operate fair price shops as multipurpose consumer service centers should be implemented expeditiously. This will greatly benefit the cooperative societies by increasing their income. He said that necessary amendments in the Act should be made by August 31 for implementation of the cooperative policy of Madhya Pradesh.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was directing the officers after the presentation of Madhya Pradesh’s Cooperative Policy- 2022 at the residence office today. Cooperative Minister Shri Arvind Bhadauria, Chief Secretary Shri Iqbal Singh Bains and officials were present.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that district level core group should be formed within a month. He said that the audit allocation of cooperative institutions should be done through online software in a completely transparent process. Suggestions should be taken from various departments by identifying new areas related to cooperatives. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that speedy work should be done to provide ATM and mini ATM facility in district cooperative banks. The overall data of housing cooperative committees should be available on the portal for the perusal of the general public. Necessary rules for the formation of various types of cooperative committees should be made available on the public portal.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that ease of doing business and transparency should be ensured, services which are not online should be made online. These services should also be included in the Public Service Guarantee Act. The pace of work to implement the cooperative policy must be accelerated. The decision-making process should be speeded up, so that the results are brought in front of the public fast. He said that action should be started by setting road map and time-limit in a week.
