Clean Label Signature Snacks Clicks with Meat Lovers: FreshToHome’s Fastest Growing Segment in Delhi/NCR

GURUGRAM : India’s first clean label range Signature Snacks, emerges as the fastest growing segment on the FreshToHome platform. Earlier this year, FreshToHome, the world’s largest fully integrated online brand in fresh fish and meat e-commerce, enabled the launch of ‘Signature Snacks’ that are free from E-range additives and preservatives.

The D2C brand said that the ready-to-cook category is one of the fastest growing segments across Delhi/NCR and has witnessed double-digit growth month-on-month. 

Speaking about the fast-paced growth of Clean Label Signature Snacks in Delhi/NCR, Shan Kadavil, Co-Founder, FreshToHome, said, “Delhi/NCR is known for its love for good food and we are delighted that the Signature Snacks range has won the hearts of meat lovers in Delhi. The segment has witnessed accelerated growth and the trajectory stands at 50% growth month-on-month. This segment alone is contributing to more than 10% of the overall sales in Delhi/NCR. We are thrilled that the repeat orders are high and Tier II cities- Kanpur, Lucknow, Ambala, and Chandigarh- have shown overwhelming response and are among the top selling cities.”

Crunchy Chicken Nuggets and Chicken Chilli Garlic Fingers are the most ordered items in the Signature Snacks range.

As India’s first clean label range, Signature Snacks do not contain preservatives like nitrate, phosphate, and E-number additives that are most commonly found in frozen products. Instead, preservatives are replaced with organic components, a rare first for any brand, ensuring that the Signature Snacks are safe for the consumption of all.              

Sharing insights on the success of the category, Shan said, “Awareness in consumers has been key to the success of the Signature Snacks. For decades, as consumers, we had to choose preservative-laden products due to the lack of alternatives or as a result of the hazards of consuming preservative-laden products being carefully hidden from customers. Hence, making an informed purchase about frozen products was not an easy task for the common consumer. I am happy that FreshToHome has been a key enabler in making a breakthrough in this segment, and customers of every age group can now relish ready-to-cook products being fully aware that they are consuming the safest food.”
