Blood donation camp organized in NITTTR Sector 26, Chandigarh on the occasion of Martyrs Day of Mahatma Gandhi

Chandigarh : Truth, peace, cooperation, dedication and goodwill and implications of Mahatma Gandhi ji, a blood donation camp was organized at NITTTR Sector 26 Chandigarh as a tribute on his Martyrs Day. The camp was organized by National Academy of Customs, Indirect Taxes and Narcotics Zonal Campus, Chandigarh in association with Red Cross Chandigarh, Vishvas Foundation Panchkula and PGIMER. Two minutes silence was also observed at 11 o'clock in the memory of Mahatma Gandhi.

 


Camp started by Sunil Singh Katiyar ADG, chief guest Samita Katiyar, Pranjal Singh ADD, Varun Soni DD, Manoj Kumar Bhan DD and other guests Dr. Suchet Sachdev from PGI, Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas, President from Vishvas Foundation and Sushil Kumar Taank from Red Cross Chandigarh lighting the flame. Sunil Singh Katiyar ADG, Chief Guest Samita Katiyar, Inspector and other employees of the department also donated blood in the camp.

 


In the camp, the participants were told about the importance of blood donation by motivating Sunil Singh Katiyar, Pranjal Singh, Dr. Suchet Sachdev and Sadhvi Neelima Vishvas. Around 100 participants participated in the camp. The camp was successfully completed by 73 blood donors under the supervision of Dr. Deepika from PGI Chandigarh. It was assured by the department to organize such humanity implication programs in future also.

 


All blood donors were encouraged by giving appreciation letters and gifts. On this occasion from Vishvas Foundation, Rishi Saral Vishvas, Rishi Mohit Vishvas, Sadhvi Preeti Vishvas, Madhu Khanna, Rishi Shashvat Vishvas, Ramesh Suman, Varinder Kumar Gandhi, Vikas Kumar and other dignitaries were also present.
